From Taiwan's Mount Li, this harvest of qing xin cultivar is one of the highest elevation oolongs in the world. Grown at 2,400 meters, thin atmosphere and thick clouds allow for slow growth and yields of exceptional depth. Da Yu Ling is harvested twice a year in small quantities; consequently, there are a number of inauthentic styles on the market — this isn't one of them.
Medium body, bright aromas of green apple, lilac, and dew. Look for deeper character and rain soaked muscatel on the second steep.
